Northern Berkshire Transition

People like you who are interested in strengthening the resilience of our region

This is the official page of Northern Berkshire Transition. We are a collection of people working together for a more vibrant community. Our website is designed to reflect this grassroots character. It is a social networking site, which means that people can join it and communicate with each other here. Members can advertise events by adding them to our calendar, write blog entries, share photos from Transition events and their favorite and least favorite places, upload videos, initiate and join forum discussions and start groups for their hometowns or subjects of interest. Unlike traditional websites that are controlled by a webmaster, this one can be added to by anyone who signs up. It will become more and more "alive" with contributions from each new member. By creating a profile, people like you who are interested in strengthening the security of our region and lifestyles by moving from oil dependency to local resilience will have voices and be able to network here.

Thank you, Jay, for taking the time to create this space. I look forward to many thoughtful and creative conversations around issues of sustainability in the Berkshires!
