Hi, Caroline,
The attendance for the Transition talk by Tina Clark the other night was well attended. We hope you can make one of the upcoming gatherings so we can get your input on community issues important to you.

If you go to our main website and join there ,you will get notifications of upcoming events, be able to post your own events of interest, and follow community projects we are working on.

northernberkshiretransition.ning.com

We will soon be meeting to discuss more of the details of Transition and specifics that people are interested in with regards to our community and building resilience.

We hope you will join in for those discussions and projects ahead of us.

We will be sure to post details of upcoming events of interest (feel free to post some yourself here) and we will email broadcast notice of any gatherings.

Live Well,

Jay Walsh

Hi Jody,

Good to meet you yesterday at ther garden. I will discuss with some of the other NB Transition members about helping out with the Potluck on July 31. I think we could round up a few interested in community gardens and see how we can all share to build more like yours in our community.

I will be happy to put out a broadcast email to our list and if you need help I could send out a press release, and calendar posting to the local media for you as well.

I have taken the liberty to create a sign for the Potluck that you can post at the roadside of the garden. I hope you like it. You may need to take it down over night because of local sign ordinances. I wouldn't worry to much about it though. I do need to get the sign back when you're finished with it. We use it for other events. I will drop off the sign today with a note. As the Potluck is just 3 weeks away I would suggest putting the sign out at the road as soon as you can.

When I return next week a few of us are getting together. I would love it if you could come (day and time TBD) and we could talk about the potluck.

FREE STUFF - I mentioned to you Freecycle.com. This is a website where you can post items you wish to give away for free or post a wish list. There is not a specific North Adams town listed but you can easily create one for North Adams STUFF.

If tou sign up at the Northern Berkshire Transition website it will be easier for me to keep intouch with you. northernberkshiretransition.ning.com
