 Adams\nYou may have noticed a slight name change, now FEED the Berkshi
 res, is the official name of the initiative which is utilizing the Kee
 p Farming program  structure.\nWe had a great event with 60 people fr
 om six northern Berkshire communities (Williamstown, Cheshire, Clarksb
 urg, Adams, North Adams, and Florida) as well as Stamford VT.  This i
 s just the start of an exciting effort and new participants are always
  welcome to the process.  If you know someone who may be interested, 
 please pass this e-mail along so they can plan to attend the next meet
 ing on November 14th at the First Baptist Church in North Adams (same 
 location as the kickoff meeting) from 7-9 pm. \nClick here for more i

 \n What: \n Berkshire Regional Planning Commission and GlynwoodCent
 er collaborate to launch Keep Farming® initiative in North County. Â
   Area residents, farmers, landowners, food related retailers and prod
 ucers are invited to this important training to work towards improving
  the future of local agriculture in North Berkshire County (Adams, Che
 sire, Clarksburg, Florida, New Ashford, North Adams, Williamstown and 
 Savoy). \nWhere:  TBA  Refreshments will be served. \nWhy:  The 
 goals of the Keep Farming initiative are to make farming a strong part
  of the economic base of North County, to increase local food producti
 on and food security, to promote healthy eating, and to identify obsta
 cles and opportunities regarding land use, and natural resources that 
 are essential to this effort. \nHow:  The process will include takin
 g stock of where we are by gathering data from farmers, future farmers
 , land owners, purveyors and eaters of food, and assessing our land an
