The Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation would like to host a discussion about possible future scenarios for the Green River Farms. Since GRF went into dormancy in January 2011 there have been multiple conversations by various groups with a diversity of ideas. In an attempt to both share information and ideally to focus in on a more concrete approach (excuse the mixed metaphoric reference) to moving forward with a proposal that could result in a sustainable future for this important part of our agricultural heritage.
I have attached an evolving document whose roots are in the discussions that I have been party to over the past year. It might be viewed as a point of departure or a suggestion of possibilities. It might provide a starting point for discussion to take place at a meeting we would like to host early next month.

671 Cold Spring Road, Williamstown

I will be out of the country until 1 February when you could contact me ( HArt@Williams.edu ), in the interim Leslie Reed-Evans ( lre@wrlf.org ) can answer further questions.
Thanks so much,
Hank Art
